ABOUT US

FREE SCREENINGS, SO CHILL

Filmscope is a non-profit community interest company set up in 2021. We wanted to create a community cinema within our local community from The London Borough of Brent. We are enthusiastic about providing access to FREE film screenings across the many genres and stories the artistic medium of cinema has to offer.

We strive to create a collective community of Film lovers, building opportunities to come together, engage, share and inspire new perspectives, voices and ideas.

Cope Through Film (2021)

Engagement in the community

With funding and support from CVS Brent & The National Lottery Community Fund, we were able to introduce our cope through a film project of Free film screenings to the residents of Wembley Willesden and Sudbury.

An Inclusive project for everyone who enjoys seeing films on the big screen, going to cinemas and making new connections. Specifically, we wanted to help those that were unable to attend the local multiplex, those who may be socially isolated, with disabilities, older residents and those who care for them to have access to free screenings. We screened 12 eclectic free screenings over 6 months from a variety of genres

“The stop motion workshops were great fun, the kids were inspired & making them at home now”
